Portfolio Target Profile

ElevenX will seek control positions or a path to a control position, in sectors that are being disrupted by digital transformation in growth sectors.  Potential Fund portfolio companies will have proven technologies that have not realized their full potential.  ElevenX will target small to mid-market technology companies where ElevenX believes that its operational and strategic experience can drive higher growth and create market leading companies.  ElevenX will target investments in companies with generally positive EBITDA and cash flows and a strong client base.

High Growth Sectors

ElevenX will look for companies that follow its investment focus, are in high growth sectors.  Many of the larger technology sectors are undergoing major transformations driven by an accelerated wave of digitization. ElevenX will look for companies that follow its investment focus, are in high growth sectors and which ElevenX  believes provide greater risk mitigation in the long run if coupled with operational execution.

Network based sourcing

ElevenX and its advisors have deep operational experience in the fields that the Fund will invest in.  As a result, ElevenX believes that its relationships with key clients, partners and distributors are much more robust than traditional sourcing approaches.  Hardened by time in the trenches with industry executives, the Management Team is often referred proprietary transactions based upon its track record for results and visibility in the industry.  As a result, ElevenX will often get the first call on transactions and many of its deals and opportunities.

Process-Intensive Due Diligence

ElevenX uses a proven and consistent approach to due diligence which includes a strategy review, comprehensive financial analysis, client and partner reference checks, tax and legal reviews, employee interviews, product and service reviews, competitive analysis, and independent industry discussions.  The diligence process is strengthened by ElevenX ’s operational experience which helps it focus on the areas of unique financial and operational risks, as well as strategic opportunity.  The step-by-step process followed by ElevenX helps ensure consistency and discipline in its approach.

Operational and strategic orientation

ElevenX looks for transactions where its operational relationships, experience and tools can have a meaningful impact on the Fund’s returns. Members of the Management Team have been C-level executives of major leading organizations in the industries in which the Fund will invest. ElevenX ’s programs and tools for creating market leaders using key tools used by Portfolio Management to drive growth and profits.

Value Sensitive

ElevenX looks for situations where it believes that it can add value through its value creation tools and expects the entry point valuation to reflect the level of risk and effort that will be necessary to drive above market returns.

Operational improvement tools

This includes strategy reviews, product and service reviews, product, geographic and segment profitability analysis, product packaging and pricing analysis, utilization, and realization rates on service, as well as more traditional financial analysis on a variety of key financial and operational metrics.  ElevenX is actively involved in recruiting key talent, introductions and sales to key customers and partners as well as programs to lower costs in non-personnel areas. ElevenX applies a collaborative approach emphasizing areas that ElevenX would have an appreciated advantage as operators and not simply scorecards of performance.
